Net vs Total carbs

Should I set my carb limit with total or net carbs?

This usually comes down to personal preference.

Some people count total carbs because they don’t trust food labels that tend to exaggerate total carbs and underestimate net carbs. This is most likely because fiber is seen as healthy and calories as something to limit. Other people count net carbs in order to better distinguish the fiber in their diet from the caloric portion that’s burned as carbs.
